Young Nuns
The Vatican reported that the number of Catholics in religious orders around the world continued to decline. In the latest figures for 2006, there were just over 945,555 monks and nuns, down about 7,555 from the year before. The overwhelming majority, 753,555, about 80 percent, were women. Around the U.S. the number of nuns has also been going down, and their average age rising. Watch the video.
